The Visual Arts Program at Bayswater West Primary School is lead by Ms Julie Bedwell. The program gives every student an hour a week of art and craft based activity which has a specific focus on skill development in painting, drawing, threads and textiles, printmaking, construction and modelling. The children's work is proudly displayed in our corridoors for all to see.
The children use a variety of tools amd equipment, they use materials from specific art supply sources, but also engage heavily in the use of recycled items to not only increase opportunities for creativity, but also to help our environment.
Every child has a folio of artistic samples on file which is added to every year and it's exciting for all of us to see how our skills and talents have progressed and grown throughout our primary school years.
